History: This recipe was given to me by an Italian lady in response to me wanting an easy but impressive dinner party recipe and it is sensationally both.

Amount/Measure/Ingredient
1x Fillet of beef (size to suit number of guests) 8-10x Cloves of garlic 2x Bottles red wine 300gms fresh mushrooms
Preparation:
Trim any excess fat off meat. Make series off deep, narrow slits along the fillet and insert the peeled garlic pieces into the slits. Place the whole fillet into a caserole dish and submerse the whole steak in red wine. Bake for SIX hours at FIFTY DEGREES
CELCIUS. Remove the fillet (which will now be purple in colour) from the dish. Put steak aside for ten minutes to rest and just before serving, in a very hot pan roll the fillet to blacken the outside. Prepare mushroom sauce . Serve with your favourite vegetables or salad.
