Shoepeg Corn

History: A co-worker gave me this recipe. When I read it, it sounded awful! She told me to try it anyway. It is requested at all family functions now!!

Serving size: About  8

Ingredients:

2 cans shoepeg corn (white corn), drained 

8 oz cream cheese 

dash garlic powder (or to taste) 

1/4 cup milk jalapeno peppers (to taste) 

1 stick margarine

Preparation:

Melt the margarine and cream cheese in a glass casserole dish in the microwave. Mix well. Add to the cheese mixture, corn, garlic powder, milk, and peppers. Mix well. Place in preheated oven 350º F. bake for 20 minutes. 

Smells wonderful while baking.
