1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup soft, cooked rice
2 teaspoons melted butter
1 egg, well beaten
Add milk slowly to flour and salt, beating to avoid lumping.
Mash rice until fairly smooth. Combine with flour mixture; add butter and egg; bake in a greased layer cake tin at 450 degrees F for 30 minutes.
When done, split open and butter generously.
