1 package unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 1/2 cups milk, scalded
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
Mix gelatin with water. Add sugar to scalded milk. Combine with the gelatin mixture and stir until gelatin is dissolved. Add the almond extract and mix. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan or mold sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Refrigerate until set.
Cut into cubes or unmold and serve with mandarin oranges, pineapple or fruit cocktail for color.
