DESSERT TO GO

    Dessert to Go

    1 small box instant pudding and pie filling, any flavor
    2 cups cold milk
    1 (10 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
    2 cups prepared whipped topping
    8 flat-bottom ice cream cones
    Colored sprinkles and additional maraschino cherries, for garnish

    Prepare pudding according to package directions using milk; refrigerate until serving time.

    Stir cherries into whipped topping; refrigerate until serving time.

    Spoon 1/2 cup pudding into each cone. Top with 1/2 cup whipped topping mixture. Garnish with sprinkles and a maraschino cherry if desired. Serve immediately. (This dessert is best eaten with a spoon.)

    Makes 8 cones.
