GRANNY'S MEAT LOAF

    Granny's Meat Loaf

    2 beaten eggs
    3/4 cup milk
    1/2 cup bread crumbs
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    2 tablespoons parsley
    1/2 teaspoon sage
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    1/4 cup catsup
    2 tablespoons brown sugar or maple syrup
    1 teaspoon dry mustard

    In bowl combine eggs and milk; stir in bread crumbs, onion, parsley, sage and pepper. Add ground beef. Thoroughly mix. Shape meat into a loaf or spoon into a mold. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes.

    Spoon off fat. Glaze top of loaf with catsup, brown sugar or maple syrup and mustard mixture. Bake an additional 10 minutes.
