KAHLUA PECAN PIE

    Kahlua Pecan Pie

    1 (8-inch) unbaked pie shell
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/3 cup granulated sugar
    3 eggs
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    3/4 cup dark corn syrup
    1/4 cup Kahlua
    3/4 cup pecans
    Kahlua Cream (recipe below)

    Prepare pie shell.

    Cream butter and sugar together well. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in salt, corn syrup and Kahlua. Place pecans in pie shell and add Kahlua mixture over the pecans. Bake in oven at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes.

    Cool thoroughly and top with Kahlua Cream.

    Kahlua Cream
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    2 tablespoons Kahlua

    Combine cream and Kahlua and beat to soft peaks.
