1 pound ground beef
1 (16 ounce) can pizza sauce
1 (8 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1 pound loaf French bread
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
In a medium skillet, brown beef; drain. Stir in pizza sauce and mushrooms. Set aside.
Cut bread in half lengthwise, then into eight pieces. Spread meat sauce on bread. Place on greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
