ROASTED CHICKEN WINGS

    Roasted Chicken Wings

    20 to 30 chicken wings
    1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 cup soy sauce
    1 teaspoon dry mustard
    1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
    3/4 cup butter, for basting

    Cut chicken wings at joints. Discard tips. Combine all ingredients except butter. Marinate chicken for 8 to 24 hours in the refrigerator.

    Roast wings uncovered at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours, basting with butter. Serve.
