Recipe for Dilled Stroganoff


    Dilled Stroganoff

    1 (2 pound) round steak, cut into strips
    1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped
    8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill or 1 tablespoon dried dill
    1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
    1 cup sour cream
    Cooked broad egg noodles

    Place steak strips in crockpot; add pepper, onion, mushrooms, garlic, dill and beef broth. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Add sour cream for the last hour of cooking.

    Serve over broad egg noodles.

    Serves 4 to 6.
