Instructions Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Amount/Measure/Ingredient 1 large Italian bread or French bread or Vienna bread or Scali 2 tbsp. Olive oil 1 stick salted butter, soft or margarine 1 tbsp. fresh peeled garlic, minced very fine 1/4 tsp. oregano 1 tbsp. parsley chopped 2 tbsp. scallion finely chopped 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 cup Parmesan, grated Split the bread, Italian bread or French bread or Vienna bread or Scali, lengthwise or cut into slices and place on a baking sheet. Combine all remaining ingredients and mix into a smooth paste (garlic bread butter). Spread on the sliced surface of the bread and then bake for 6-8 minutes or until crisp. Cut into desired slices. There may be a little garlic butter mixture leftover or you may choose to use it all.
